Master’s International

Considering the Peace Corps?! Why not get a Master’s degree too!

Besides being a Peace Corps Volunteer, I am also a Master’s student at the College of Charleston, working towards a degree in Environmental Studies. I am a member of an elite program known as Peace Corps Master’s International. During the academic year of 2013-14, I completed my core academic coursework at the College of Charleston. Now my remaining courses will be completed remotely as independent study and my final thesis will be based on my work here in the Philippines.

  1. Hi SJ, I’m so happy to have came across your page. I’m also an MI student and I have just set a date for my interview for this same position in the Philippines. I was wondering if you would mind if I could ask you some questions sometime regarding your work and life over there. From your pictures and stories, it sounds like you had a great experience!
